A. Yes - you can use it anywhere and as often as you like.  We recommend patch test first on a less sensitive area - eg your hand or arm and check for any specific sensitivities first before using on your face

Q.  How quickly should I see results?

A.  Everyone is different but most customers feel and see improvements in 2 - 3 days.  Less itchy, less red, less inflamed and more hydrated skin.  Within 10 days your skin will look and feel much better.

Q.  How often should I use the High Factor Skin Remedy?

A.  You can use it as often as you like - we recommend you definitely start with at least 2 - 3 times a day.  It's safe to use often and over a long period of time (unlike a steroid cream where you want to avoid prolonged use).  

Q. How do I use the High Factor Skin Remedy?

A.  Remove the seal under the cap and then squeeze out a little bit of cream directly onto the area of skin you need to treat.  You don't need to use a lot - just rub it in.  Reapply 2 - 3 times a day and whenever your skin feels itchy.

Q.  Is the High Factor Skin Remedy anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory?

A. Yes it is - and it's immune balancing too.  So, as well as stopping the itch, reducing th redness and inflammation it brings the immune system into balance and helps your skin heal.

Q. Will the High Factor Skin Remedy cure my skin condition?

A. Sadly there is no cure for eczema, rosacea, psoriasis or dermatitis.  It will soothe and give relief from the symptoms like itching and redness and dry flakey skin, but not cure it.

Q. How is the High Factor Skin Remedy different from your Moisturiser and Lotion?

A. The High Factor is our most popular and widely used treatment cream.  It is hypoallergenic and contains the highest level of the natural active extract from our organic peony root.  It is a treatment cream.  Our Everyday Moisturiser and our Peony Lotion are maintenance creams, designed to keep skin hydrated and reduce the number of skin flareups that need the treatment cream.  The Everyday Moisturiser is a thick cream designed for very dry skin. The Lotion is a lighter "milkier" consistency and perfect for your face and body.  We recommend you use the Skin Remedy to treat skin and either the Moisturiser of Lotion to maintain good skin health and reduce flareups.

Q. How is the High Factor Skin Remedy different from the Peony and Calendula Skin Remedy?

A.  Both Skin Remedy creams have the same high level of the natural active extract from our organic peony root and will do the same job - reduce itch, redness, and inflammation.  The Peony and Calendula Skin Remedy also has calendula extract and is a heavier cream, ideal for rosacea skin and reducing redness. 

Q.  How is the High Factor Skin Remedy different from the Peony and Manuka Honey Skin Remedy?

A.  Both Skin Remedy creams have the same high level of the natural active extract from our organic peony root and will do the same job - reduce itch, redness, and inflammation.  The Peony and Manuka Honey also has manuka honey which is particularly good at wound healing.  These two powerful ingredients work together for great results.  It shouldn't be used by people allergic to bees (or bee products) so we don't recommend Manuka Honey for babies or young children who might be allergic.
