What products should I try first for my eczema?

Start with the High Factor Peony Root Skin Remedy. This is our treatment cream and stops the itch, reduces redness and inflammation and improves skin appearance. For best results use the Peony Cleanser or the Healing Body Bar to clean without irritating your skin.

How often should I use the High Factor cream?

You can use it as often as you like - we recommend you definitely start with at least 2 - 3 times a day. It's safe to use often and over a long period of time (unlike a steroid cream where you want to avoid prolonged use). Apply the
cream directly onto the area of skin you need to treat. You don't need to use a lot - just rub it in.

Can I use High Factor Skin Remedy use on my face, lips, eyelids and other sensitive parts of my body?

Yes - you can use it anywhere and as often as you like. We recommend patch test first on a less sensitive area - eg your hand or arm and check for any specific sensitivities first before using on your face

How quickly will I see results?

Everyone is different but most customers feel and see improvements in 2 - 3 days. Less itchy, less red, less inflamed and more hydrated skin. Within 10 days your skin will look and feel much better.

How Peony Root can help change your skin.....

Our journey began with our 6 week old baby who overnight was suddenly covered in eczema. We had many trips to doctors and immunologists. In our desperation we tried anything doctors suggested, steroid creams, special bedding and clothes, antihistamines, different diets, prescriptions after prescriptions. Some things helped but it was always there, interrupting sleep and impacting his life.

This lead us down a new path of research into what was available and to ultimately develop our own product range made from an ingredient with ancient origins in natural health.

Peony root has been used for centuries to treat immune balance and inflammation. It is used extensively in Herbal medicine and Ayurvedic medicine. For the past 17 years we have been growing peonies on our organic farm in
Dovedale, Nelson NZ and harvesting the roots of the plants.

The application of the active ingredient in peony root called paeoniflorin in our creams, soaps, shampoo and cleansers provides a whole regime to replace scented, chemical-based solutions that only aggravate skin conditions.
